How do I upload my list all at once?
First and foremost, do not upload purchased, rented, or
other third-party lists. Doing so violates our Terms and
Conditions and may result in termination of your account
without refund.
There are two upload options:
1. You can use our free self-service upload tool, which
allows you to upload up to 3,000 addresses in a 24 hour
period -- you must send a message out to these addresses
before you do another upload the next day.
To upload your own opt-in list, click on Manage Account at
the top right of your browser window and select Upload
Existing List
1. Create a tab delimited text file with one record per
line. Example: email address
2. Click on the Browse button and select your tab delimited
file.
3. Click on the Continue button and follow the instructions
on the page.
2. You can use our custom upload service (typically $50
to $100). We can upload groups that are larger than 3,000
addresses, but we still do the uploads in batches and
increase the batch size each time so you have a shorter
period of time before all addresses are uploaded (i.e.,
we can do 3,000 one day, 7,000 the next day, etc.) You would
still send a message out after each batch has been uploaded.
If you have many list categories, you may need to have us do
a custom upload. Contact us for instructions on submitting
your file. Please allow one business day to start the upload
process.
The addresses are uploaded in small batches initially,
regardless of which method you select, to monitor for spam
complaints that might result from the list.
NOTE: depending on the nature of your list, we may ask you
to reconfirm the addresses.
List uploads are available for accounts at the Bronze level
and higher, not the free version. If you have a free account,
click on Upload Existing List and follow the instructions
to upgrade your service level.
Upload Policy
1. You MAY NOT upload any purchased, rented, harvested
(from the web or public databases), exchanged, or other
third-party lists. Doing so violates our Terms & Conditions
and may result in termination of your account without refund.
2. You may upload up to 3,000 addresses during a 24-hour
period using this upload page. If you upload more than 3,000
addresses within 24 hours, your account may be temporarily
put on hold pending review of your list. Contact us for a
quote to do a custom upload to add more than 3,000 addresses
at one time.
3. You must send a mailing to the addresses you upload before
you can do another upload. Not doing so may temporarily put
your account on hold pending review of your list. (You can
target your message based on date of upload in order to send
the same message to each batch of uploaded addresses without
the earlier batches getting the same message again.)
4. NOTE: Addresses added here will not receive your standard
list welcome message nor the subscription confirmation
message since they are your existing subscribers. Depending
on the nature of your list, we may ask you to reconfirm
the addresses.
